These two types of water meters are sometimes referred to as household water meters and industrial water meters. In addition, these two kinds of water meters can also be distinguished from the case connection. Water meters with nominal diameter of 40mm and below are of threading type, and water meters with nominal diameter of 50 mm and above are of flanging type.
