The photoelectric direct reading water meter generally adopts M-BUS communication, and the meter does not need a built-in battery. Usually, power supply is not needed for the meter, except metering reading or valve operation, which greatly reduces meter reading rate. So, this kind of meter mainly applied in new buildings.
